They have a website at www.fpl.com or you can call 941-639-1106.  They will not put power in your name until they have an order to shut it off from the current account owner .  Sprint is 1-800-339-1811 and the cable company is Comcast at 1-888-831-2481. The title company will fax a copy of the closing statement on the day of closing to the water company to get it switched. And finally, the physicians referral line at Fawcett Memorial Hospital is 1-800-257-0944.   There is also the Peace River Regional hospital (941-766-4122) in Port Charlotte and Charlotte Regional in Punta Gorda (941-639-3131).
