  Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club is located at the entrance of the pristine waters of the Peace River on Charlotte Harbor.  The majestic beauty of this location sets the tone for the club and all the accompanying amenities.  Inside the clubhouse the elegant ballroom and dining rooms are second to none and provide for both casual and formal dining. While dining on one of the chef's culinary creations, elegantly served, members are privy to a spectacular view of Charlotte Harbor. CHYC is much more than a Yacht Club focused on boating. Our members are provided with a wide range of activities to enjoy and participate in throughout the year.

    Fleet activities are planned throughout the year.  Charlotte Harbor provides a vast expanse of sheltered waterways for boaters to sail, cruise, fish or just enjoy the beauty that abounds.  With easy access to the Gulf and Intracoastal Waterway, trips to the Keys or other more distant locations are planned for the more adventurous boaters. For pleasure boaters as well as serious yachtsmen, our protected marina offers all the necessary hook-ups, fuel, secure dockage and a full time harbormaster.

     If  tennis is your game we have members willing to share a set or two on our courts.  For those less athletically inclined and wishing quieter pursuits, we have games such as bridge, Mah Jongg, bingo and pinochle available on a regular basis.  Casual and formal parties are monthly events based on a theme central to the time of year.  If you enjoy capping your weekend with more than just fine dining then Saturday night at the club is for you with live music for you dancing or listening pleasure.

CHYC is a member of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs and members are invited to enjoy reciprocal privileges at member clubs.  Arrive by boat or car to participate in club activities or just fine dining.
